World Monitor — real-time global intelligence dashboard with live markets, geopolitical data, and infrastructure monitoring

Compare

Compare World Monitor

Compare tools for conflict monitoring, country risk, shipping disruption, and live geopolitical data. Review their prices, data coverage, update frequency, API access, and limitations, then open a detailed comparison for your use case.

How to choose a comparison

Start with the task you need to complete. Compare tools with the same criteria, then consult the named vendor's current documentation for the capabilities that matter to you.

For global multi-domain monitoring, open Best Real-Time Geopolitical Risk Dashboards. For structured historical conflict research, open World Monitor vs ACLED. For Ukraine frontline detail, open World Monitor vs Deep State Map.

For programmatic API or MCP access, open MCP Servers for Geopolitical Data. For monitoring versus travel assistance, open Travel Risk Intelligence vs Assistance. Check the detailed comparison's dated methodology, then confirm the current price or capability with the vendor because both can change.

How World Monitor measures this

World Monitor combines separate measurements rather than treating every map marker as the same kind of evidence. GDELT supplies news and event data in 15-minute batches; UCDP supplies coded conflict events from annual GED and monthly Candidate releases; AISStream supplies streaming vessel positions. These sources answer different questions: reported attention, recorded violence, and observed traffic. Their timestamps and geographic coverage can differ even when they appear together on the dashboard.

ACLED event requests use a 15-minute cache, which does not make ACLED publish new events every 15 minutes. Maritime monitoring covers 13 maritime chokepoints from the shared registry. Check the country snapshot below for dated risk context; it is not a simultaneous capture of every feed.

Coverage: the source catalog lists 757 active providers across the product, not per metric. Availability varies by source and location.

Published country instability snapshot, captured . This reference remains dated when live values change.

What we concede on purpose

ACLED wins historical coded-event depth, academic citability, and downloadable structured datasets. GDELT wins raw archive volume back to 1979. Deep State Map wins Ukraine frontline granularity maintained by analysts. Dataminr wins proprietary social ingestion and sub-minute alerting SLAs. Recorded Future wins enterprise threat-intelligence depth across cyber, physical, and geopolitical risk. IMF PortWatch wins chokepoint coverage (28 to our 13), bulk download, and IMF plus Oxford authority at zero cost. International SOS wins assistance delivery: 27 centers, medical evacuation, and case response. World Monitor has no assistance centers, no medical evacuation, and no case response, and the travel page says so.

Those concessions are the credibility argument. A page that swept every column would read as marketing, and marketing is the thing this family is built not to be. If you need the cell they win, buy them. If you need a no-signup multi-domain watch with published prices, REST from $99.99/month, and MCP from Pro at $39.99/month, stay on the child page and read the rest of the matrix.

How these figures were checked

Prices and capability cells on this page were checked on 5 September 2026 from each named vendor's public pricing, product, or API documentation and from World Monitor's published catalog at /pricing, /mcp, and /compare/. The hub row-set is the union of platforms compared on the child pages, checked on the same date against the same public sources. Where a vendor publishes a list price or quota, the matrix uses that figure. Where a vendor does not publish list pricing, the cell is "Undisclosed (enterprise-negotiated)". This family never substitutes a third-party estimate for a missing list price.

World Monitor prices on every row are the public catalog: $0 for the dashboard with no signup, Pro from $39.99/month including MCP access, and API Starter from $99.99/month for 1,000 requests/day. Third-party MCP status is Yes only when a public server or community implementation is documented; otherwise it is Unverified. Signup walls, archive depth, and domain coverage were read from product or docs pages. This page is committed copy with a dated lastmod. Vendors change SKUs, so use the check date above and confirm the current price or capability in the named vendor's documentation before you buy.

Editorial comparison

The blog post World Monitor vs Bloomberg, Palantir, Dataminr, and Recorded Future compares their capabilities and distinguishes published prices from enterprise-negotiated licensing.

That editorial post is a narrative companion, not a second matrix. Pricing claims on the blog are required to use the same undisclosed language this family uses for vendors without list prices. If a sentence on either surface invents a competitor number, treat the published catalog here as the correction.

Prices and capabilities were checked at publication time and can change.
